ABOUT
MY STYLE
In my readings I gravitate towards my love and understanding of Gnosticism, Alchemy, Taoism, Astrology, Psychology and art, alongside a deep connection with my intuition which I've developed over many years of reading for myself and others.
If I am using Tarot, I pull from the abundance of symbols and correspondences nested on the cards. If I'm working with the I Ching I pull from the ancient set of Chinese elements the system is built upon, and with all of my readings, especially Scrying and Augury I rely on my insights and intuition to guide me.

MY DIVINATION JOURNEY
As a child I would lay in the Sun with my eyes closed looking at the light coming through my eyelids. The colors came through vibrantly as I watched what seemed like my own personal screening of Fantasia.
In school I would get in trouble for not paying attention, however, if my teachers would have asked they would have known I was just taking visionary journeys outside to break up the monotony of the day.
As I grew up I gravitated towards art and learning about alternative ways to interact with this strange thing we call life. I started noticing that if I asked the universe for a sign or symbol, it always delivered. I learned to trust my intuition and the symbols I received and eventually started giving myself Tarot readings with the Rider-Waite Tarot deck, then eventually over time learning to connect with a variety of different Tarot and Oracle Decks.
As a teenager I went to a local bookstore in search of a book on psychology. Upon opening up the newly discovered book titled 'A Causal Synchronicity' by Carl Jung, I read how he had wrote a forward for a different book, one titled "The I Ching". I did not know what the I Ching was at the time and so I stopped for a moment to contemplate the mysterious unknown title, and when doing so I raised my head and set my eyes to the adjacent shelf, and in bright yellow writing was the title "I Ching". I still find this synchronicity to be potent, mysteries and continuing to unfold for me today. Needless to say, I bought both books that day and I have been studying and working with the I Ching ever since.

MY TEACHER
Through the web forum Online Clarity, created by Hilary Barrett, I began researching and connecting with other people in the I Ching Community. It was there that I met author and translator, Bradford Hatcher.
Bradford's I Ching is by far the most comprehensive and thorough translation I have come across. His translation is tapped deeply into historical Chinese research, and his commentary is like reading someone's account of an Ayahuasca trip which floating down a river.
Over the years I've come to appreciate the variety of ways people approach connecting with the I Ching. For some it is strictly scholarly, for others a deeply spiritual endeavor where the symbols have a language all their own. Bradford's I Ching holds both approaches, honoring the history of China's past while keeping a sense of wonder and magick in the text. I am so grateful to have learned the ways of this ancient text through Bradford.
After finding Bradford's translation I reached out to him and we began studying together over Skype, and eventually I moved in with him where he lived, in a small town in the mountains of Colorado. There I would learn much more than what I'd set out for. I learned the art and discipline of studying, the way to gather and exchange information, and most importantly how life is full of many plot twists and humbling experiences.
In June of 2020, Bradford passed away leaving behind his brilliant research on the I Ching. His translation can be found FOR FREE on his website as well as all of the other carefully gathered knowledge he has gifted to the world:
